Start with the vessel and its physical context.

Explore the vessel and its systems together

ShipExact brings vessel geometry and equipment arrangements together with system behaviour. The three-dimensional view helps locate a component; functional views help explain its relationships with equipment, controls and measurements.

From controls to physical behaviour

Understanding a system means reading its command, physical state and measurement signal together. A command change can affect connected components; a measurement shows the aspect of that behaviour being observed. Distinguishing where a response begins and how it develops over time helps trace cause and effect through the system.

A comparison should make clear which inputs changed and which stayed fixed. Comparing records under matched conditions helps distinguish the source of a difference; a missing measurement does not mean the physical value is zero.

Read arrangement, connections and response together

The demonstration moves from the vessel’s three-dimensional view to equipment arrangements and functional connections. Examining components both in place and within their connected system helps relate spatial arrangement to system behaviour.

The animation’s independent cooling model makes this approach concrete: command changes are followed by filter restriction, recovery and a measurement interruption. At each stage, the changed input is compared with the physical response and measurement signal.
